Refund Policy

We have a policy of only accepting returns or exchanges if the item you purchased is found to be defective or if your item was found to be lost in transit. Please read below for more information.

Misprinted/Damaged/Defective Items

 If you happen to receive a defective item, please reach out to us at orders@kawaiitees.com and provide us with a photo, the order details and information about the defect. We will then assess the situation and determine an appropriate solution.

Once we receive the returned product, if deemed necessary, we will thoroughly examine it and notify you via email within a reasonable timeframe whether you qualify for a refund or a replacement due to the defect. If you are eligible for a replacement or refund, we will proceed to either replace the product or refund the purchase price using the original payment method.

Claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the product.

Please note that refunds are only applicable to regular-priced items, and sale items are non-refundable.

Items Lost In Transit

For packages lost in transit, claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. But no worries! We will cover the costs of reprinting and shipping a replacement order for you.

We might ask you to help before doing that, like confirming that the shipping address was correct or getting in touch with the shipping carrier to try locating the lost order.

Keep in mind that if tracking information states an order was delivered, but you have yet to receive it, we won’t take responsibility and reship your order. In that case, any replacements would have to be at your expense.

Wrong Address 

If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

Unclaimed

Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our facility, and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment (if and as applicable).

If a product is returned, it will return to us, and we’ll place it in temporary returns for 30 days at no cost. During this time, you’ll be able to change the shipping address and will be responsible for shipping costs. All unclaimed returns will go to charity.

It’s important to mention that refunds do not cover any shipping and handling charges indicated on the packaging slip or invoice. You must prepay and insure the shipping charges for all returns. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the item during shipment, and we cannot guarantee the receipt of your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and any refunded amounts will not include the cost of shipping.
